Features of the Lobo Two Head Wide Belt Sander:
- Â The first head is for heavy sanding of your stock, while the second combination head is for finishing.
- The sander is built out of heavy-duty sheet metal construction that is designed for longevity.
- Industrial motors provide for smooth sanding and feeding of your stock.
- Infeed and outfeed rollers are spring loaded to provide a positive feeding without leaving sanding marks.
- The combination platen & drum sanding head (second head) works well for sanding when you have the platen up.
- This makes the sander function as a drum only machine, for sanding with 40-100 grits.
- Keeping the platen and drum at the same level, middle and fine finishing is achieved using120-180 grits.
- With the platen down (below the drum), using a fine finish or lacquer sealer sanding 180-600 grits.

The sanding platen has a quick release and lock down that is designed for easy removal or loading of a graphite platen.

Computerized thickness control and digital read out allow for very accurate settings. Key in the desired thickness and the table will move automatically to that sanding thickness with in .005".

A large size diameter contact drum has been dynamically balanced with rubber covered spiral grooves, thus allowing for better material removal.

A special rubber feed belt allows the stock to be moved safely without slipping.
- The abrasive belts are tracked by oscillating cylinders that are linked to the upper roller. An electronic eye detects the edge of the belt, which then controls the air supply to the belt position via solenoid valve.
- A sensor switch is located on the top of each roller to detect belt breakage, shutting the machine down if this a cures.
- Four (4) heavy duty jacking screws adjust the height of the powered conveyor table.
